Wedding of the Week: April from Hansen Love

It's that time again! This week's featured wedding is April from the blog Hansen Love.  I know I say this all the time, but seriously.  This girl is gorgeous and had the prettiest wedding with the most delicious-looking food. Prepare to be amazed!

April and Jake were married on 5.18.12 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Where was your reception held?

The Manti House Inn gazebo.

What were the things you spent the most money on for your wedding?

My dress, the reception site, and his suit.

Who were some of your favorite vendors? 
Our photographer, Courtney Crockett, was the best.  Her prices were lower, she was fun to work with, and I'm in love with our pictures.  Our cake was amazing and tasted delicious. I'll have to get her name.. :)  My mom's best friend Teddie-Sue made our cupcakes.. they were to die for!

How were you able to cut costs during your wedding planning?

I made a lot of the decorations and my veil. My mother-in-law gathered up a lot of decorations that her sisters had as well.

Did you end up over or under budget for your wedding?

Just over, but only because I spent more of my own money for little things I wanted!

What is your best advice for those planning a wedding?
Find what you love! Also, try to make as much stuff as you can, or talk to your family or future family!  I cut costs BIG TIME just by borrowing or using the talents of my family members.
